Description

This seems to be the best match for this shell, using Pilsbry V2 P2. However, I'm not at all familiar with this species. The striations appear to be somewhat taller and more pronounced than is described. Also, the shell is much different in size and shape than pictured in Nekola and Coles, 2010.

Another possibility is Thysanophora plagioptycha, which seems to have the more pronounced ribs/striae like this shell does, but this shell's umbilicus is not very open, and the shell seems to be taller than that species.

A single mature shell from litter from steep dry ravines under wooded scrub on a north facing clay-sand slope. Several immature shells also found.
