At least three different species of grasshopper were found along a short stretch of the dry Chalone Creek streambed. While I was unable to get a clear look at this one's wing color, it made a clear cracking sound as it flew. It is overall pale gray with lavender undertones and relatively long, dark antennae. I am unsure as to the species and any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
