Pretty much my most wanted plant today at Griffith, found it just seconds before my driver arrived to pick me up.

A very grey looking plant, it didn't stand out among many dead and dried up plants. The leaf/stem structure caught my eye and I'm glad I did because I might have missed it otherwise.

Look at image 2 and tell me that it is obviously alive and in full bloom!
