Location is approximate. Recorded in numerous spots along roads, tracks and powerlines near Geehi Dam. This population was given the name H. milesiae in 2015 (Telopea 18, Wilson & Makinson) as it is distinctively different from H. exalata and occupies wet forest habitat, not riparian sites (searches of Geehi River banks failed to find any). It occurs in disturbed sites and recruits after fire or other disturbance. The 4th photo shows alternate and opposite leaf pairs on a single plant, one of the features which distinguish it from H. exalata.
