The Greater Simonsberg Conservancy (GSC) is a non-profit and public benefit organisation situated in the heart of Cape Winelands.

Established in 2004 as Klapmutskop Renosterveld Conservancy with 5 private properties around Klapmutskop. The conservation area has since expanded along the slopes of the iconic Simonsberg Mountain right into the Banhoek Valley and now have 30 members in the Stewardship Programme.

Currently we have one proclaimed Private Nature Reserve, Wiesenhof, part of the project.

Delheim Wines, Uitkyk Wine Estate, Boschendal, Plasir, Le Bonheur and Warwick Wines are also Conservation Champions under the WWF Project.
