I am currently spending a lot of time identifying cockroaches of Peru and other Neotropical areas. If my IDs are from Peru (especially in the Madre de Dios region), my IDs are based on my observations of species in my own collection. Even if diagnostic characters aren't visible in the photos, I know the fauna well enough that I can sometimes give specific IDs.
