I am an emeritus professor at Vancouver Island University in Nanaimo, BC. I worked at VIU for 32 years teaching courses in invertebrate zoology, entomology, and parasitology. I have a keen interest in the natural history of all organisms, with a particular passion for animal parasites, insects, marine invertebrates, and amphibians and reptiles.
