I've been turning over logs and mucking about in swamps all my life. My first loves were salamanders, frogs, snakes and turtles. In fact, I do still have the first field guide I carried around at 10-yrs old. Next came birds and plants and mammals. I went on to study Biology with special projects in Marine and Freshwater Biology and Ecology. Now I simply enjoy what I observe and how each marvelous species fits into the great wonder that is this wild earth.
