I saw these raccoons eating our dog food I front of our house. There were about five of them. I am not too sure on the exact species, but I think they are the northern raccoon. They weren't too shy, but still were kinda skittish around noises (such as the door opening and closing).

Description

Out in the back of my school, there is a field. I was walking around out there, looking for exciting organisms, when I lifted up a tire and found this. It looks to me like this is a mouse nest. There were many other signs of mice and rats in that field from the holes I saw in the ground. I even saw some grass move quickly as if something was crawling away, but it was too fast for me to catch it.
