I live in the beautiful White Peaks area of the Peak District in Derbyshire, UK and have a keen interest in the environment and conservation. I help run a Wildflower group in the village I live in which encourages fellow residents to actively support wildflower areas across the village - both on public land and in their own gardens. As well as providing more support for local flora and fauna, this scheme also encourages residents and visitors alike to get more involved and realise the health and wellbeing benefits of getting closer to nature.
