Spiny Sea Squirt (Halocynthia dumosa)

Description

When I picked-up this object to look at the lighter brown lump on one end, there was a very distinct contraction response from the main mass. The small yellow growth on one end (image #2 & 3) may be one of its siphons.
The lighter-coloured lump may have been a separate organism or an extension of the main one (outgrowth/clone?). It had what appeared to be siphons that bore some resemblance to the one on the main body.
