Found as is,trundling across algae and rock reef in an inshore direction, during rising tide such that the Kaurna traditional intertidal fish trap pool in which I was floating finless (swalkeling as I call it) was getting somewhat deeper than when I first entered, but still with minimal surge and no wind, air temperature ~37 Centigrade .Meaning the water was very clear and relatively calm ,and an almost cloudless sky in bright sun probably amounted to a window of fairly low predation risk. Even the cormorants sitting on nearby rocks seemed disinterested in my presence. But these conditions were only 6-12 hours ahead of a moderate approaching cold front, with the usual associated South Westerly onshore moderate gale force winds. But of course these decapods would know exactly when to make a move from one safe rocky haven to another.(The last image while of poor quality is included to depict the seemingly vulnerable, risky position of the shrimp in a wider habitat format:it's the little brownish thing in ~ middle of a 'paddock' of pale yellow canopy brown algae!)
[NB:Length of shrimp as viewed in 1st image is ~7 cm]
