Corticolous on rawiri (Kunzea linearis). Thallus firmly adnate to substratum. Greyish yellow-green when fresh / upper surface emaculate without reticulate cracking. Thallus margins ciliate, crenate to finely isidiate, isidia laminal, coralloid, ciliate, apices brownish, very rarely becoming sorediate. UV+ 'ice blue' (becoming stronger with age). Upper cortex K+ yellow, C-, KC-. Medulla K+ yellow turning orange, C-, KC-.

This is the name used for this lichen in New Zealand but it remains to be seen if it is being correctly applied.
