The combination of weather and time finally intersected today. I was able to go on a kayak based bird survey looking for American Oystercatchers. I am probably going to post to many AMOY, but each one is different and several are banded. The bands were reported by my survey partner.

My camera gave me fits today so many are not up to the quality I usually post - so sorry about that.

We saw about 4 or 5 unbanded birds today and 6 banded birds - we did not like seeing birds without bands!
