Description

was under a fallen piece of bark. Very active. Kept trying to escape into the leaves and under other bark pieces. lots of tongue flicking. Also tied its tail around my finger when I was holding it. Slender salamanders found in the exact same bark pile. The temperature under the piece of bark was 66.5 degrees F and the humidity was 78.2% RH.
