I'm confused. A seemingly knowledgeable person on site identified this as Purple Pitcherplant, Sarracenia purpurea. But there are no observations of S. purpurea on the Gulf Coast, though TNC's brochure on the site includes the species.. There are many observations of S. rosea. Suggestions for distinguishing between the two?
