Description

I think this specimen is in the genus Scutellaria-- found on Cerro de Pipe near Amapala in the San Luis de Monteverde valley. It had serrated, whorled, simple leaves and a square stem cross section. Anyone know the species? And whether it is native to Costa Rica or not? Found in regenerating pasture within the bounds of the Children's Eternal Rainforest property on the Pacific verdant.
