Unnamed Coprosma allied to C. neglecta. Differing in sutble stipule characters and by the distinctive bright green foliage (without the usual maroon spotting and darker pigmentation seen in the type race). This variant is found at Hokianga Heads, Maunganui Bluff, Mt Manaia, Bream Head and on the summit cliffs of Hauturu-o-Toi (Little Barrier Island).

Very common at Maunganui Bluff from where it takes its tag name C. aff. neglecta "Maunganui Bluff"
