Description

On soil under stand of pure ponderosa pine. Button has orangish slimy cap that becomes yellowish at maturity and stains blue green. Pores are pale yellow. There appear to be white veil remnants on the cap margin but no ring nor ring zone. The stem is whitish staining yellowish inside and out—no conspicuous glandular dots. Copious white basal mycelium. Mild odor and taste.
