Description

Growing directly on a hiking path in a mixed forest (Northern White Cedar, Poplar..), on clay rich soil.
Apothecia are pale yellow, sessile, 2-3mm in diameter with smooth margin.
Asci 8-spored, operculate, uniseriate, IKI-, croziers(-), 239-257x10.8-12.4um, N=4.
Ascospores are ellipsoid, multuguttulate, smooth, measured
(15.7) 15.8 - 17 (17.4) × (8.1) 8.5 - 9.6 (9.9) µm
Q = (1.7) 1.73 - 2 ; N = 22
Me = 16.6 × 8.9 µm ; Qe = 1.9
Paraphyses are filiform, septate, without VBs, about 2.1-2.6um in width.
