Apothecia are whitish, substipitate with smooth margin (without glassy process) and under 1mm in diameter.
Asci 8-spored.
Ascospores cylindrical with globose SBs, slightly bent, measured
(3.7) 3.9 - 4.7 (4.8) × (0.7) 0.8 - 1 µm
Q = (3.9) 4.4 - 5.4 (5.7) ; N = 17
Me = 4.2 × 0.9 µm ; Qe = 4.9
Paraphyses cylindrical or slightly enlarge at the apex with VBs.
Phylloscypha phyllogena was on the same log.
This is a new species for me.
