Last three photos show where I found it in Clustered mountain mint in my pollinator meadow. Didn't notice until I was in edit that there were drops and I'm wondering if it could be a female laying eggs, or just frass. I pinched the section of leaves of the mint to bring it down for photos, then placed it back on the plants. Surprised it never flew off, which is part of why I now wonder if it was laying eggs.
