I find this variant on Artemisia frigida. They average much paler than the M. bowditchi canus I find on A. cana and A. tridentata. I suppose it is also with noting that I find M. b. canus and M. b. bowditchi within 1000 meters of each other on their specific hosts in South Dakota with very little evidence of phenotypic introgression.
