Protea grandiceps
It is Redlisted as Near Threatened
From the Red List
"fire-related population fluctuations occur in small, severely fragmented subpopulations, but overall the population does not fluctuate extremely. This species is slow to mature and subpopulations are easily destroyed by too frequent fire. Other threats include wild flower collecting and over-harvesting for firewood (in the past), hybridization and drought-related mortality."
