Jellyfish Roll-Out

A phenomenon seen last year too at the Wilderness beach during September and October when large numbers of jellyfish washed up. Within 5km 91 animals were counted with today's observation. Only the whole and large ones were included. It follows a couple of days of hectic easterly winds - onshore for this stretch of beach. They potentially are brilliant enviro educators as people are fascinated by them and always stop by to examine and photograpgh them! Plough snails have a feast of course!
