small vlei spider, about 3.5mm body length. Web about 60cms off the ground above thick grass layer between a hedge and dead herb stems under a tree, (no open water in vicinity). (Note: photo showing angle of web has another, different web in the dead stick in the foreground not associated with observation.) The last photos taken indoors with artificial light and came out blue, resultant pictures adjusted but colours not true to life.
