Rhizomatous geophyte, 20--45 cm, stems grey-hairy. Leaves linear. Flowers in a corymbose panicle, enantiostylous, mauve, tepals ovate, long stamens shorter than tepals, with anthers two-thirds as long as anther of short stamen.
