There were two species of chiton on this rock. The larger chiton Woody Chiton Mopalia lignosa is on top of what looks to be a Lined Chiton Tonicella lineata

Along the rocky shore of Strait of Juan de Fuca at Clallam Bay Park and Slip Point during low tide.
