Several plantlets, each just an inch or so across, coming up in a deep layer of lava cinder. There was little other vegetation nearby, but I did locate a seed stalk residue from a previous year. Elevation ~2295 m, 7530 ft Context suggests the species. https://nmrareplants.unm.edu/node/144 https://swbiodiversity.org/seinet/taxa/index.php?taxon=Phacelia+serrata&formsubmit=Search+Terms
