On the bark of living Acer rubrum, on multiple trees. Apothecia sessile, 0.4-0.8mm.
Hairs are hyaline, cylindrical, smooth.
Paraphyses are filiform, sometimes forked.
Asci 8-spored, croziers(+), IKI+b, 118-130x10-13um.
Spores long cylindrical observed only in asci, measure 55-64x2.8-3.7um.
