Description

This headless, dead shark was found on the shore of El Capitan State Beach. The ranger, who had not yet seen it, thought it might have washed that far up. The area seemed higher than the high tide line, though. We wondered if someone had dragged it there. But it was left in the middle of the trail -- a very strange place to find it.
