Two individuals found as is, in an old burrow on the side of a low intertidal boulder. One more, smaller individual was about 8 cm away. I collected two individuals (shown in the last two images) with the hope that they might be of use in resolving the relationships between A. mariae, A. buddemeieri, and Anthopleura collected from Japanese tsunami debris washed ashore in Oregon a few years ago.
