White-lipped Snail, Cepaea hortensis, was observed many times during a short stay in Aberdeen, Scotland, UK (yes, still part of the union). It was a common sight on sidewalks along Ellon Road at night, especially after a light rain.
I first thought it was Cepaea nemoralis, but invertzoo pointed out that apparently all shells have a white lip, so I changed the name of the species to hortensis. Thanks again, invertzoo!
