Description

Identified using description in PlantNet. Tufted perennial 65cm high, inflorescence somewhat contracted panicle 20cm long, 4cm wide (photos 1,2); leaves with glabrous sheath, ligule membranous ca.1mm long , with an auricular lobe (photo 3); spikelets 4.5mm long (photo 4); glumes unequal, lower 3mm long, upper 4.5mm long distinctly longer than glumes, subterminally awned 0.5mm below apex (photo 4-6); awn 14mm long, geniculate, twisted (photo 7, 9); palea (projecting upwards in photo 8) subequal to lemma; 3 anthers (photo 8).
