Habitat and range 3

Creeks and grassland. It can be found on the east side of North America and on the east side of Canada. This species will be somewhat active but it can sit for hours waiting for it's catch.

Seasonality 3

It can be found in the Summer and Spring. The life stages of the Dolomedes Triton: immature, subadult, and mature. Immature is when they are a smaller specimen and not showing any difference in gender/sex. Subadult is when it molts once or twice into maturity. In the mature state a male will develop functional palps (elongated appendages) and the female will develop functional pedipalps (elongated appendages on the female).
