The Mountaineers Foundation is a charitable organization that protects the beautiful 386 acre Rhododendron Preserve near Bremerton, WA and funds groups working to improve conservation and environmental education throughout the Pacific Northwest.

Lisa Shanafelt is currently managing our iNaturalist BioBlitz project for 2015. Lisa has a B.S. in Environmental Science and an Ecological Restoration Certification from the University of Washington. She loves outdoor activities and has a personal passion for identifying and photographing native plants and animals.
