Lower Columbia Estuary and watersheds

The Lower Columbia Eco-region is comprised of the Columbia River Estuary and adjacent watersheds including the Nehalem, Necanicum and Naselle Rivers, that have their origins in the temperate rain forests of the Swalalahos Floristic Provence. The region is biologically diverse and includes many organisms unique to the area.

About

To celebrate the vernal equinox, we will attempt to document as many species as we can from the Ides of March until the end of the month. We tried this for Winter Solstice with the Lower Columbia Christmas Bioblitz and it seemed like such a promising idea, we decided to try it for other seasonal markers as well.
