Hopkins' Rose Nudibranch (Ceratodoris rosacea)Observer
longhairedlizzyDescription
Found in a tide pool during a rocky intertidal survey at north beach. Only one was seen, though time prevented looking too hard for others.
The Golden Gate National Recreation Area Aquatic Ecologist, Darren Fong, was on site today during this observation and remarked that this species has not previously been documented at this location. Darren has been doing intertidal surveys in this area for well over a decade.
