Tall (as my hand) and white with dark distress freckles along the stem and head. It was very cone shaped almost like a very slanted roof of a house. Was easily picked and slightly heavier that I thought.

This id may be a little inaccurate. But I found a beetle crawling along the tree log across the creek in my spot but it scurried away into the creek before I could get a good look at it. It was around the size of the Doug fir beetle

I was not able to get a picture in my site of one because I found it as I was leaving and these were such a childhood fine it didn't register to take a pic. It was found in the dry leaves of October.
