Strongylura krefftii, known as the long tom or freshwater longtom, is a species of euryhaline needlefish native to Northern Australia and Papua New Guinea. The fish grows to a maximum length of 85 centimeters and has a silvery, diverse range of coloration, ranging from bronze to olive green.
