Description

Basal primary thallus crustose, dark green, not forming distinct thallus, pillow-like growth, somewhat granular; secondary thallus filled fruit body, mushroom like, tan/yellowish color, gills decurrent, somewhat spaced, pale yellowish color; cap .25-3 cm diameter, when young plane w/ incurved margin, deeply depressed w/ age, not viscid, smooth, darker color when young fading w/ age. Thin flesh. Somewhat wavy margin, striated; stipe similar color, .75-3.5 cm long, about 2mm thick. Equal, somewhat curved, smooth and pliant; spore print white; found growing in second stage Doug fir dominant stand, growing on decaying conifer. Basidiomycete lichen.
