The purpose of this project is to:
a) create an awareness of nature and the biodiversity therein.
b) dispel the myths that cause people to be scared of spiders.
c) catalog the many types of spiders in the SE US, and to
develop a keen eye when it comes to noticing subtle
differences that might distinguish one genus or species from
another.
d) create an interest in spiders and to discover the possibilities
that can come from working with these amazing creatures.
e) give people an opportunity to enjoy beauty, the out of doors,
and the creatures which co-exist on this planet with them. less ↑
