SI NMNH Department of Entomology spider group confirmed via ID in Spiders of North America (Ubick et al., eds.). Drawing was a good match with image for the genus Castianeira and Reiskind’s 1969 article on North and Central American Castianeirinae. Spider believed to be a Castianeira longipalpa (Hentz, 1847), in Family Corinnidae. The coloration of the legs matches, and the folium (pattern on the spider’s abdomen) does also. (DDeR)
