These weird little hydroids were impossible to photograph in the current, but strikingly patterned.
Not a cooperative snake...
Tiny, about 1/4" long, on feather boa kelp. Looked exactly like a tiny football with white laces!
Largest one we saw today, about 3" long.
Juvenile, about 1/3" long.
Very cool markings. On giant kelp, about 1/3" long.
