Description

Very small (2-2.5 cm of SVL) and neat looking rhacophorid frog.
Distributed at high elevation in mountain range of N. Vietnam. Formerly a Philautus species.
Found at elevation 1700 m a.s.l. near the breeding pool on grass at nigh.

Description

This is large species, females reaching 8-9 cm SVL, males bit smaller (6-6.5 cm).
One of the classical "flying frog", formerly though to be Rhacophorus reinwardtii of which it is very different not only in size but also other morphological characters.
Males calling from above the tree 4-5 m sitting on leaves.

Description

This species reach up to 10 cm of SVL in both, male and female.
It is sexually dimorphic and males has much more prominent big red blotches on dorsum.
This species reported just from several localities in Brazil, an endemic species.
Was distributed over 10 years ago in hobby in Russia by occasion (from two young frogs which appeared as pair). Several generation pass in captivity.
The species is very productive, lay over 2500 eggs, has 1.5 to 2 months of larval developmen and grows very quickly. It matures almost at 1 year old, reaching 5-6 cm of SVL, double it's size for first month.
