Spider body length is 1 inch, found in duff.

Yellow snapdragon found near grass.

Praying mantis colored white about 2 to 2 1/2 inches. Found in tall yellow whitish grass. Black markings under armpits. Probably not an adult because it was not able to fly.

Grey bird flew out of nest. Nest was in a rock's crevice. Speckled on wider end of eggs. A few feet from trail, and few feet above the ground. The nest was composed of grass and moss.
