The Flame Skimmer, very common in the West, also very beautiful. When I worked on dragonflies in Arizona I saw it every day I was out in the field, except in winter. I would have named it in my sleep if I dreamed about it.
Today I saw the photo, and lots of associations came back to me, but no name! Easily enough remedied but a bit frightening how quickly second nature becomes a "file not found."
